Job summary

VoltaGrid LLC is seeking a Plant Engineer to oversee the reliability, safety, and operational performance of a designated power generation site. You will act as the on-site engineering authority, coordinating troubleshooting, maintenance optimization, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate with customers and site personnel. Travel to VoltaGrid facilities and customer locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years in power generation, industrial operations, plant engineering, field operations, or related environments.
• Strong understanding of power generation systems, electrical/mechanical equipment, controls, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for plant operations and equipment.
• Monitor plant performance and respond to interruptions or abnormalities.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop reliability improvements and maintenance optimization plans.
• Ensure safety culture and regulatory compliance across the facility.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during commissioning and plant operations.
