Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in power generation, industrial operations, or plant engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of safety practices, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for plant operations and processes.
• Act as primary technical liaison between VoltaGrid, site personnel, and customers.
• Monitor performance and respond to interruptions and abnormalities.
• Lead troubleshooting and coordinate corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for disruptions and incidents.
• Develop action plans, incident reports, and reliability improvements.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across the facility.
• Ensure compliance with policies, customer requirements, and regulations.
• Oversee maintenance, inspections, testing, and asset lifecycle management.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with teams during commissioning and operations.
• Analyze data and identify opportunities to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports, procedures, investigations, and compliance docs.
• Provide guidance to personnel, technicians, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support rotational coverage and travel to other VoltaGrid facilities as needed.
