Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages LLC seeks a Plant Controls Specialist to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, prioritizing controls opportunities to boost operations. You will develop and maintain electrical/controls documentation and help improve designs and programs with the CCE team.

The role requires extensive experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial networks; you will train maintenance technicians and manage projects to minimize downtime across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or 8+ years in industrial environments without a degree.
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs and plant networks.
• Ability to present complex problems clearly and work with others.
• Strong analytical and prioritization skills; adept at problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide controls/electrical training to maintenance technicians to reduce downtime.
• Execute small/medium projects using PLCs and VFDs and HMI systems.
• Maintain industrial networks (DeviceNet, Remote IO, ControlNet, Ethernet).
• Support SKU controller installation/maintenance with NABU group.
• Develop and maintain electrical/controls documentation.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve operations and balance mechanical vs control changes.
• Plan projects to minimize downtime and ensure safe, compliant operation.
• Supervise electrical installation/integration of equipment and controls in the plant.
• Adhere to CCE Controls and Electrical Specifications.
