Job summary

The Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages plant in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Plant Controls Specialist to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, develop and document electrical and controls systems, and lead projects with PLCs and Allen Bradley devices. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or minimum 8 years of work experience in industrial environments
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Networks (DeviceNet, ControlNet, Remote IO, Data Highway Plus, and Ethernet)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide training in Controls and Electricity to Maintenance Technicians to minimize downtime
• Execute projects involving PLC 5, SLC 500, ControlLogix, Panel View Plus, and Allen Bradley VFDs
• Maintain industrial networks such as DeviceNet and Remote I/O
• Develop and maintain electrical and controls system documentation
• Identify and prioritize controls/electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance
• Plan and execute projects minimizing downtime and coordinate resources
