Job summary

Stellant Systems, Inc. in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Hybrid Plant Controller to direct accounting operations, fiscal planning, and policies for the manufacturing units. You will lead the Accounting Department and partner with senior management to optimize cost management and financial reporting.

The role requires extensive manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and expertise with ERP systems, including Infor LN, to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate standard costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 15+ years of accounting/finance experience with 2+ years in cost accounting.
• Manufacturing experience required; defense industry strongly preferred.
• 10+ years supervisory experience with strong leadership skills.
• Infor LN, ERP systems and Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet corporate reporting and federally mandated reporting requirements.
• Manage, train, and evaluate accounting staff.
• Act as Business Partner, collaborating with Senior Management on trends and reporting analytics.
• Lead the Financial Planning process (budget and forecasts).
• Lead the Financial Closing process for accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze costs and variances with Operations/Engineering for root causes.
• Develop and update standard costs for material and labor.
• Analyze inventory valuations and reserve calculations.
• Lead performance variance analyses and prepare explanatory reports.
• Lead capital spending plans and CAR process.
• Manage Net Working Capital and inventory optimization.
• Prepare rolling cash forecast and manage cash flow.
• Conduct cost modeling and scenario analyses for initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support process improvement.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain accounting records.
