Job summary

ManpowerGroup, a leading global workforce solutions company, is seeking a Non-IT Project/Program Manager II for its industrial manufacturing client in Detroit, MI.

You will manage plant construction and infrastructure projects from $1M to $20M, lead cross-functional teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with rigorous reporting.

This role offers weekly management updates and close collaboration with manufacturing engineering and operations on a multi-month program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Ability to interpret drawings and apply technical judgment to guide project decisions within general practice policies.
• Experience managing contractors and coordinating work with skilled trades to complete in-house projects.
• Strong independent judgment and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Comfort partnering with manufacturing engineering and operations to provide technical assistance and support.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant construction and infrastructure projects from $1M to $20M.
• Lead regular project meetings to evaluate deliverables and schedule alignment.
• Provide weekly updates to management on progress, risks, and next steps.
• Evaluate options and recommendations within budget and schedule constraints.
• Direct construction activities and ensure documentation stays current.
