Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; must obtain Level 4 CE certification.
• Must possess LVL (Residential/Limited Commercial) certification or obtain within 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• All licenses and certifications must be maintained as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents for code compliance prior to plan approval.
• Address questions on code compliance by phone and in person.
• Research code questions and provide responses to internal and external customers.
• Coordinate with inspectors and staff to ensure consistency in plan review, permitting and field inspection.
