Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an experienced Planning and Scheduling Manager to lead sophisticated planning across complex projects and new product initiatives at BLUvera. The role partners with operations, manufacturing, engineering, and leadership to translate objectives into executable schedules.

The candidate will drive integrated schedules, assess risks, and implement solutions to keep projects and production on track while shaping scalable planning processes for a growing operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software.
• Thorough knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing and installation methods.
• Strong planning and interpretation of drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site teams and trade partners in developing project schedules using CPM scheduling systems on large, complex projects.
• Monitor and update project schedules across multiple projects to support leadership.
• Generate mitigation options and assist management in schedule recovery plans.
• Coach and mentor team members in scheduling methods and best practices.
• Collaborate with Business Development on proposals, leading schedule strategy for pursuits.
• Support rollout of company-wide training plans and scheduling improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships across diverse teams and levels to ensure schedule discipline.
