Job summary

TRISTAR is seeking an experienced Advance Planner to support complex planning, scheduling, and operational analysis for U.S. Navy modernization and maintenance programs.

You will apply advanced analytical techniques and quantitative methods to improve efficiency and readiness, coordinating with program managers, engineering teams, and government stakeholders. Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required or currently held.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning skills.
• Experience analyzing operational data and developing performance metrics and reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze master production schedules to establish workflow sequencing and lead times to meet project dates.
• Evaluate operational processes and apply analytical methods to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
• Conduct quantitative analyses related to scheduling, workforce allocation, material availability, production performance, and readiness.
• Develop predictive models, forecasts, and performance metrics for management decision-making.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Revise existing schedules based on changing priorities and constraints.
• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and production personnel to assess status and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor schedule performance and expedite delayed activities to achieve objectives.
• Prepare production, resource utilization, and performance reports for management review.
• Apply operations research techniques such as simulation, optimization, forecasting, and statistical analysis.
• Develop recommendations for improving production systems and processes.
• Support Navy modernization planning and align with Navy Modernization Program requirements.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
