Job summary

Siemens in Livermore, CA is seeking an experienced Planning & Order Management Professional to support integrated production planning and order execution across our Livermore and San Leandro operations. Reporting to the Order Management & Planning Manager, you will ensure customer orders move through the factory with clear visibility and strong cross-functional coordination.

The role requires organization, proactivity, and comfort in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.
• 5+ years in production planning or order management in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and execution tracking tools.
• Strong Excel skills and use of dashboards/ trackers.
• Excellent English communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Willingness to work across Livermore and San Leandro sites.

Responsibilities

• Support production planning and scheduling to create executable factory plans.
• Improve planning discipline, visibility, and cross-functional coordination.
• Coordinate order changes, planning updates, and execution status.
• Maintain planning files, dashboards, trackers, and system data.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Materials, Logistics, Quality, Sales, and Customer Service.
• Track readiness factors like engineering release and material availability.
• Support delivery date maintenance and issue resolution.
• Assist recovery efforts for urgent or high-risk orders.
