Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Palo Alto seeks a Senior Manager of Production Planning & Control to translate global demand into executable schedules, ensure material readiness, and drive disciplined factory execution. You will lead the on-site control tower, align planning with procurement, fulfillment, and engineering, and own site KPIs for delivery, throughput, and inventory.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain.
Experience in factory-based planning and execution environments.
Strong expertise in production scheduling, MPS/MRP, SAP/ERP systems.
Inventory and WIP control experience.
Proven leadership of operations or planning teams at a manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

Own daily, weekly, and short-term production planning for the Palo Alto site.
Oversee production order lifecycle and ensure accurate SAP execution.
Manage material readiness, shortages, and escalation with procurement and planning.
Control WIP, sub-assemblies, and finished goods inventory to optimize throughput and service.
Lead cross-functional site reviews and risk escalation for on-time delivery.
Drive KPI ownership for schedule adherence, throughput, backlog reduction, and inventory visibility.
