Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Planning Manager to lead a team of planners for a major energy project. You will develop and maintain schedules, forecast timelines, and monitor performance for EPC delivery, coordinating with senior management and clients.

You will oversee WBS development, activity durations, and critical path analysis, ensuring timely updates and clear reporting across Reston, VA and Cheyenne, WY sites.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (engineering, construction management, business, or related field).
• 15+ years of relevant experience; 5+ years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of planners and interface with project team for schedule data.
• Accountable for schedule development, maintenance, forecasting, and monitoring.
• Communicate progress, opportunities, and challenges to senior management.
• Interact with the client and senior internal stakeholders regularly.
• Develop WBS, activity durations, logic ties, and budgeted expenditures.
• Identify critical-path activities and schedule trends for reporting.
