Job summary
Quanex in St. Cloud, MN is seeking a Sr. Planning and Logistics Manager to lead the planning and logistics strategy across production, materials, inventory, and freight.
This on-site role partners across functions to optimize supply chain performance and customer satisfaction. You will establish capacity plans, monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with finance on S&OP. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years in Operations, Supply Chain, or Production with at least 5 years in people leadership.
- Ability to extract data from SQL tables and present meaningful data.
- Demonstrated statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; MS Office proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create rough-cut capacity plan for Rough Mills feeding assembly plants.
- Maintain planning parameters for completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor inventory at-risk and flag impact of decisions to leadership; drive improvements.
- Provide procurement analysis support using operational KPIs and vendor performance data.
- Create demand schedules and balance capacity with weekly capacity planning.
