Job summary

ASU's Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts seeks a Planning and Data Analysis Senior to provide analytical support for academic, financial and operational decisions. Under administrative direction, you will develop analyses to inform strategic planning and budgeting, applying specialized data techniques across university systems.

You will collect, cleanse, and model data, create dashboards and presentations for stakeholders, and contribute to forecasting, space utilization and enrollment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience or equivalent
• Experience in higher education environment preferred
• Knowledge of data warehousing and extracting (Amazon Workspaces, SQL, Alteryx)
• Experience in data analysis, modeling (R, Python, SQL) and data visualization (Tableau, My Reports)
• Experience building custom reports in Workday, Adaptive Planning or Office Connect
• Ability to collect, organize, synthesize and analyze data; summarize findings and recommendations

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced research analyses to understand performance and outcomes
• Create visualizations accessible to non-analytical staff
• Prepare reports and analyze financial data for planning and forecasting
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders and university leadership
• Develop data collection and analysis for institute-wide projects (finance, space, enrollment, budgeting)
• Use predictive modeling and statistics to identify relevant data and trends
