The City of Redmond is seeking a Senior Planner to lead complex land use, zoning, and development planning aligned with the City’s plans, regulations, and strategic goals. Under general direction, you will develop analyses and recommendations, coordinate multi-disciplinary review, and prepare clear work products for decision-makers.

The role may mentor junior staff and requires strong communication and public engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of professional experience in urban planning or related fields.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex land use, zoning, and development planning activities.
• Develop analyses and recommendations for decisions.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary reviews.
• Mentor junior staff when applicable.
