Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a highly experienced Lead Planner and Scheduler to drive robust master schedules for major energy capital projects. This role will embed at the client’s Houston office, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

The candidate should have 15+ years in planning/scheduling with at least 10+ years on large capital projects, strong CPM, Primavera P6, and PMIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of industry experience with at least 10+ years in planning and scheduling large capital projects.
• Advanced proficiency with planning/scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred) and PMIS integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain detailed master schedules for complex multi-asset capital projects.
• Develop integrated master CPM schedule with owner and contractor schedules.
• Monitor progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and engineers; present planning documentation and dashboards.
• Lead scheduling risk assessment and change management; mentor junior planners.
