Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Planner to lead integrated project planning across the full lifecycle of nuclear projects. You will define the planning framework, develop integrated baselines, and oversee progress measurement, forecasting, and contingency strategies.

Responsibilities include leading planning workshops, producing master plans and executive documents, and ensuring data quality across budgets and schedules. Remote US-based position with strong regulatory project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, PM, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years of project planning experience, with at least 5 years on nuclear or other highly regulated megaprojects.
• Strong knowledge of EVM, progress measurement, and ANSI/EIA-748 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Establish the project planning framework: WBS, control accounts, milestone hierarchy, planning procedures, and the PEP planning inputs.
• Develop integrated plans combining schedule, cost, resources, risk, and procurement into a single baseline.
• Define and maintain the progress measurement system: earned value rules, S-curves, and physical progress measurement.
• Lead planning workshops with multi-disciplinary leads to build realistic execution logic.
• Produce integrated master plans and executive planning documents (execution narratives, histograms, manpower loading, mobilization).
• Coordinate estimate-to-plan integration: map budgets, quantities, and hours to schedules and control accounts.
