The City of Bastrop Tx is seeking a knowledgeable Senior Planner to join the Development Services Team. This on-site role requires regular in-office attendance and close collaboration with staff, elected officials, developers, and the public.

Responsibilities include guiding development reviews, staff reports, and coordination with commissions and the City Council. A strong background in urban planning, historic preservation, and community development is essential.

Qualificações

• Three or more years of urban planning experience.
• Experience in neighborhood engagement or historic preservation.
• FEMA IS 100, 200, 700, 800 courses completed within one year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Review planning applications and coordinate with applicants, staff, and officials.
• Prepare staff reports and presentations for commissions and City Council.
• Update Development Services website and provide public resources.
• Coordinate with GIS for data, maps, and planning databases.
