Job summary

Qualifications

• 7 years combined experience in local or regional government planning or related fields.
• Experience with plan review, GMA, or related regulatory frameworks.
• Education in urban and regional planning; substitutions allowed for experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to counties and cities in Washington State on Growth Management Act topics and planning regulations.
• Lead or contribute to plan reviews, comments, and feedback to local governments and stakeholders.
• Manage grants, loans, and contracts related to Growth Management planning programs.
• Conduct plan review backup analyses to alleviate backlogs across Western and Eastern Regions.
