Job summary

Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of planning practices and land use codes.
  • Experience with SEPA, Shoreline Management Act, and growth management processes.
  • Ability to read maps and architectural plans; proficient in data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information to the public, permit applicants, and officials about land use regulations.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of development applications requiring discretionary approval.
  • Review proposals for compliance with zoning and comprehensive plan policies; prepare staff reports.
