Job summary

CSUMB is seeking a Senior Planner/Estimator/Scheduler within Facilities Management for on-site duties in Monterey. The role develops scopes of work, prepares estimates, and coordinates labor, materials, and services to support maintenance, events, and campus operations.

Working with project supervisors, trade leads, and campus partners, you will manage schedules, budgets, and process improvements, ensuring timely completion and operational efficiency across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in engineering, architecture, business, plant management, industrial tech, or public admin.
• Three years’ experience in staff or supervisory capacity in plant ops admin or construction, including design, plan analysis and estimating.
• Specialized skills include coordinating staffing, equipment, contracted services, logistics, and event support.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance, projects, and campus events with detailed scopes and schedules.
• Prepare labor, material, and contracted-service estimates and track progress.
• Schedule and oversee 30-, 60-, 90-day plans for staff and services.
• Develop dashboards, reports, templates, and processes for efficiency.
