Job summary

Setareh Law Group, a plaintiff-side employment firm in California, seeks a Senior Employment Law Attorney to manage a significant caseload and lead cases through all phases of litigation in a hybrid work setting. The ideal candidate will have substantial California employment litigation experience, strong advocacy, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
• Strong plaintiff-side employment litigation experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of California labor codes, FEHA, wage/hour law, and PAGA.
• Experience practicing in California state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage plaintiff-side employment litigation from filing through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy based on facts, law, damages, discovery needs, and settlements.
• Draft and review complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Lead depositions and supervise discovery and document production.
• Prepare cases for mediation, settlement conferences, and trial.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff; supervise associates and clerks.
