Qualifications

• Substantial experience practicing Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation law on the plaintiff side.
• Strong understanding of liability, causation, damages, insurance coverage, and case valuation.
• Ability to recognize valuable claims and potential complications early in the evaluation process.
• Excellent client communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable making timely, well-reasoned assessments in a high-volume environment.
• Strong professional judgment and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a high volume of prospective Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation cases.
• Assess liability, damages, injury severity, medical treatment, insurance coverage, and overall case viability.
• Identify high-value claims, complex liability issues, and potential obstacles to recovery.
• Recognize third-party liability, additional causes of action, and potential referral opportunities.
• Conduct substantive conversations with prospective clients to establish facts and assess claims.
• Make informed case-selection recommendations based on legal merit, potential recovery, and overall case value.
• Work directly with attorneys and firm leadership to ensure strong cases are identified and advanced efficiently.
• Help maintain the quality and consistency of new matters entering our practice.
