Pusch & Wynne seeks a Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to take primary responsibility for managing cases through the litigation process. You will develop case strategy, oversee discovery, draft motions, and negotiate settlements while coordinating with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel.

The role requires strong organization, attention to deadlines, and excellent communication with clients and staff.

Formación

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Licensed to practice in Texas or eligible for admission.
• 0–2 years of civil litigation experience, ideally in personal injury/plaintiff-side work.
• Comfort with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.
• Excellent oral advocacy, legal writing, and research skills.
• Ability to develop case strategy and manage a docket independently.
• Strong client communication and a client-centered approach.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a docket of plaintiff personal injury cases from filing through trial.
• Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials with increasing independence.
• Develop case strategy and oversee discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and guidance.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution.
• Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and draft high-quality legal documents.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and advocate zealously for clients.
• Work closely with experts, investigators, and medical professionals to build strong cases.
• Communicate with clients, keeping them informed and involved in their cases.
