gpac in Chicago seeks an experienced Plaintiff-Side Attorney focused on case evaluation and non-litigation work. This is a substantive role evaluating prospective Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation matters for high-value opportunities.
You will review cases, advise on merits, and guide matter acceptance while avoiding active depositions and court appearances. The position suits lawyers who want to stay connected to injury law without managing an active docket.
This is not an administrative intake position. It is a substantive, high-level case evaluation opportunity within a busy and established plaintiff-side law firm.
We are seeking an experienced plaintiff-side Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation attorney who wants to continue applying their legal knowledge and case evaluation skills without the demands of active litigation.
We need someone who knows what makes a case worth pursuing, can quickly recognize potential problems, and has the legal judgment to make sound recommendations regarding new matters.
Rather than litigating cases, you will focus on evaluating them.
You will be on the front end of our practice, assessing prospective claims, identifying high-value opportunities, and helping determine which matters our firm should accept.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume position requiring strong analytical skills, efficient decision-making, and substantial experience with plaintiff-side injury litigation.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced plaintiff-side attorney who understands the difference between a case that sounds promising and one that is actually worth pursuing.
We are especially interested in speaking with attorneys who have spent years handling injury cases and would welcome an opportunity to use that experience in a different capacity.
Step away from litigation without stepping away from the law.
For the right attorney, this position offers the opportunity to remain deeply involved in plaintiff-side Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation while transitioning away from the day-to-day demands of litigation.
You will continue analyzing claims, interacting with prospective clients, identifying significant legal issues, and applying the judgment developed throughout your legal career.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
