Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP seeks a Senior Manager, Client Development – Pitch and Proposal to lead high-stakes pitches and RFPs. You will partner with firm leadership and cross-functional teams to shape messaging and ensure competitive positioning.

The role requires 10+ years in business development within professional services, with a focus on strategic narrative, pricing integration, and cross‑sector collaboration.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in a business development role in a large, multi-office law firm or similar professional services firm.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Exceptional writer and communicator with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic pitch and proposal development, defining win themes and messaging.
• Advise senior leadership and influence outcomes across the firm.
• Navigate competing priorities and align teams around a cohesive approach.
• Own project strategy, planning and delivery with aggressive deadlines.
• Elevate messaging and narrative development for sophisticated client audiences.
• Integrate pricing, analytics, and firm capabilities with proposal messaging.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and content strategy.
• Manage US Pitch team and coach team members toward results.
• Contribute to long-term function strategy and evolution of the pitch function.
