Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking a Senior Manager, Client Development – Pitch and Proposal to lead high-stakes pitches and RFP responses from evaluation to delivery. You will partner with firm leadership to guide decision making, shape win themes and ensure compelling, client-ready proposals.

The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence in Houston, TX, three days per week, with opportunities to influence firm-wide strategy and improve proposal effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Ten or more years working in a business development role in a large, multi-office law firm or other professional services firm is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic pitch and proposal development across high-value opportunities.
• Advise senior stakeholders and influence outcomes with clear recommendations.
• Navigate competing priorities and stakeholder dynamics to align teams.
• Own project strategy, planning and delivery with proactive risk management.
• Elevate messaging and narrative development to reflect client needs.
• Integrate pricing, analytics, and firm capabilities with proposal messaging.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools and content strategy.
• Directly manage and develop the US Pitch team, setting goals and accountability.
