Jacobs in Wilson, NC is hiring a General Superintendent to lead daily scheduling and site planning, ensuring the right materials, equipment and people are in place to get the job done safely and efficiently.

You will leverage your 8+ years of construction site experience and track record as a foreman, superintendent or construction manager to guide teams, manage design/pre-construction tasks, and build strong client relationships while upholding Jacobs' standards for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• 8+ years of construction site experience.
• 8+ years as general foreman, superintendent, or construction manager.
• Knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction, building systems, contract management, delivery methods, team building and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site.
• Ensure materials, equipment and people are available to get the job done.
• Lead with safety, health and wellbeing of the team and the planet.
• Leverage people management skills to guide and develop team members.
