Bechtel is shaping a semiconductor plant in New Albany, OH, seeking a Piping Field Engineering lead to plan and execute hydrostatic, pneumatic, and service tests. You will coordinate with piping, mechanical, quality, and construction turnover teams, ensuring tests meet codes, specs, and Safe Work Practices.

Strong leadership and documentation skills are required. You will work with superintendents, subcontractors, and craft personnel to verify test packages, sign-offs, and proper turnover

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university and 8–10 years of relevant experience, including pressure testing of piping systems; or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.

Responsabilités

• Independently develop pressure test packages for assigned systems, including test boundaries and P&IDs.
• Review test packages prepared by subcontractors for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop area testing sequence and look-ahead schedule aligned with turnover boundaries.
• Maintain and improve the pipe testing program per project specs and codes.
• Prepare and verify stored energy calculations for pneumatic tests and ensure safety controls.
