Job summary

Bechtel in New Albany, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead a team on a semiconductor plant project. You will supervise craft professionals, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with schedules, budgets, and safety standards on site.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 8–14 years of relevant field experience, with strong knowledge of piping, welding, NDE, and field engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent required.
• 8–14 years of relevant construction experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong supervision of up to ~50 craft personnel through foremen and superintendents.
• Experience with piping installation, welding, NDE, pressure testing, flushing, and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises craft activities, directs work schedules, and coordinates subcontractors' activities.
• Plans workforce requirements and coordinates area operational plans.
• Monitors tool and equipment usage and ensures crafts have necessary tools.
• Ensures design documents and changes are applied correctly and work complies with specs, schedules, and budgets.
• Interprets engineering and vendor documents and supports field engineering decisions.
