Job summary

ADM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer to design, develop, and manage piping systems and pressure vessels for diverse projects at our Vineland, NJ complex. The role leads project teams, coordinates with clients and stakeholders, and ensures requirements are met on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, a PE license or plan to obtain it within 2 years, and strong skills in AutoCAD, PIPE-FLOW, and AutoPipe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
• Proven experience leading and managing engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, PIPE-FLOW, Codeware Inspect (vessel design), and AutoPipe (pipe stress analysis).
• Experience with ASME/ANSI/API/PIP codes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of piping systems for various industrial projects.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations to ensure integrity and safety of piping systems and pressure vessels.
• Develop and review piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometrics, and other documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, project managers, and clients for seamless execution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and compliance with design specs.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
