Job summary

Hargrove seeks a Mechanical/Piping Designer to perform complete design tasks under supervision. You will develop piping drawings from P&IDs and GA’s, prepare material take-offs, and assist with field design activities.

Collaboration with client personnel and on-site startup support are included. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of relevant experience, an associate degree in engineering tech or CAD, and strong CAD skills with 2D AutoCAD and Microstation, plus knowledge of piping materials and valve

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD required.
• Knowledge of piping materials, supports, and valve sizing.
• Proficiency with 2D CAD and standard drafting practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical/piping design work under general supervision.
• Develop piping drawings from P&IDs, GA’s, and specifications.
• Prepare material take-offs and assist in field design tasks.
• Support site design activities and coordinate with client personnel.
• Create accurate installation documents from vendor drawings.
