Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Piping Designer to assist in the design of mechanical/piping assignments, working under supervision in our Beaumont office. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical or piping drafting and design.
• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD and Microstation.
• Knowledge of piping materials and drafting standards.
• Experience with P&ID drawings and GA drawings.

Responsibilities

• Draft piping drawings from sketches and engineering information.
• Assist field design to verify conditions and support construction.
• Prepare material take-offs from piping drawings.
• Communicate scope and design changes promptly.
• Provide on-site startup support when required.
