RINA in Houston, TX, is seeking a Mechanical Senior Piping Design Engineer to join the Plant Engineering Division. You will lead advanced piping design activities for complex industrial and energy projects, ensuring codes compliance and integration with multidisciplinary teams.
The role requires 6–10+ years of piping experience, US PE licensure, and hands-on expertise with PDMS/E3D, Caesar II, and related tools.
Qualifications
- 6–10+ years of piping design and engineering experience in industrial plants.
- US Professional Engineer licensure required; Texas license preferred.
- Experience with tank and terminal storage facilities is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, B31.12, API, ISO, PED, NFPA.
Responsabilités
- Lead piping design activities for complex projects and ensure technical quality.
- Define plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping layouts ensuring safety and operability.
- Perform/Review piping studies including stress analysis per ASME B31 series.
- Review 3D Models and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Provide senior technical support during construction, installation, and testing.
- Mentor Piping Design Engineers and coordinate with subcontractors.
