Job summary

RINA is seeking a North America Pipeline Design Senior Engineer to join its Plant Engineering Division in Houston, TX. The role leads piping design projects for hydrocarbon facilities, overseeing engineering and CAD work to ensure compliance with client specifications and industry codes.

You will mentor staff, manage internal and external interfaces, drive project schedules, support bid evaluations, and deliver cost‑effective, safe solutions while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of detailed facility and piping design for Oil & Gas facilities.
• Professional Engineer Licensure in US; Texas PE preferred.
• Strong understanding of piping codes (B31.1/3/4/8) and bidding documents.
• Familiarity with resource management and scheduling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Windows-based software.
• CAESAR II pipe stress analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping design projects for hydrocarbon facilities.
• Oversee engineering and CAD design to ensure compliance with specs.
• Mentor team members and manage subconsultants.
• Control project schedules and interfaces across disciplines.
• Support bid evaluations and client meetings.
• Develop and implement cost‑effective design improvements.
