Job summary

TC Energy seeks an Engineer to advance pipeline safety, integrity, and regulatory excellence across its US pipeline system. You will operate at the intersection of engineering, regulatory compliance, and program implementation, supporting the Integrity Management Alternative under 49 CFR 192.611(a)(4).

You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, operations and regulators to ensure compliant and safe operation of critical energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of related industry and pipeline integrity engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Understanding of US Federal Pipeline Regulations (CFR 192) and standards.
• Ability to work independently with strong judgment and initiative.
• Experience in audits and regulatory engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pipeline segments for eligibility under the Integrity Management Alternative, including threats, asset characteristics and business goals.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to align technical, operational, and regulatory perspectives.
• Identify, prioritize, and track projects to meet programmatic requirements and ensure compliance.
• Monitor regulatory deadlines, milestones and program performance with documentation for audits.
• Analyze technical, operational, and regulatory information to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Support interactions with regulators, including inspections and information requests.
• Develop procedures, guidance documents, and regulatory interpretations.
