The Safety and Technical Services US Class / HCA team is evolving to meet the increasing complexity and regulatory demands of a growing business environment. To support this evolution, we are seeking an Engineer to join our high-performing team and play a critical role in advancing pipeline safety, integrity, and regulatory excellence across TC Energy's US pipeline system.
In this role, you will be at the intersection of engineering, regulatory compliance, and program implementation, supporting the execution and ongoing management of 49 CFR §192.611(a)(4), known as the Integrity Management (IM) Alternative to manage changes in Class location. You will help shape the company's strategy for this recently codified rule by evaluating segment applicability, threat susceptibility, coordinating projects required to satisfy programmatic requirements, and ensuring compliance obligations are effectively tracked and documented.
Success in this position requires the ability to navigate complex technical and regulatory requirements and collaborate across a diverse stakeholder network. You will work closely with engineering and compliance subject matter experts, operations personnel, project teams, and federal regulatory agencies to support consistent compliance outcomes.
