Job summary

Burns & McDonnell seeks an experienced Pipeline Engineer to oversee pipeline design and consulting services across the US, supporting projects from small upgrades to large transmission lines. You will lead a team, coordinate with survey, geotechnical, and land acquisition efforts, and contribute to proposals and cost estimates.

The role requires PE preferred, ABET‑accredited degrees, and strong knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192 and ASME B31.8.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree with 7+ years in pipeline engineering; EPC project exp preferred.
• FE exam completed option with 7 years pipeline exp; EPC exp preferred.
• Master's in Mechanical or Civil Eng with 6+ years pipeline exp; EPC exp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities and pipeline design deliverables.
• Coordinate surveys, geotechnical investigations, permitting, and land acquisition.
• Develop material specs and procurement support; assist FAT testing.
