Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in the SE Region seeks an experienced Pipeline Engineer to oversee pipeline design and consulting services for clients across the US. You will lead teams in creating design deliverables and coordinate with survey, geotechnical, permitting, and land acquisition efforts from Atlanta, GA or nearby offices.

The role includes developing proposals, cost estimates, and execution plans; mentoring junior engineers; and providing short-term field support during construction.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering as required.
• Successful completion of the FE exam with engineering experience is acceptable.
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with relevant pipeline experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for pipeline design and execution.
• Develop pipeline designs including plans, profiles, details, and BOMs.
• Coordinate surveys, geotechnical investigations, permitting, and land acquisition.
