Join a project team responsible for natural gas pipelines in a hands-on engineering role focused on scoping work, applying company standards, and keeping outside design and construction firms aligned with those standards. You will sit at the intersection of engineering and project delivery. Drawing reviews, material selection, and contractor direction will be part of the regular week, as will supporting several project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Turn company specifications into a workable project scope and steer engineering and construction contractors accordingly;
• Specify materials and verify they are appropriate for the service conditions.
• Review drawing packages to confirm they meet project intent and applicable company, industry, code, and standard requirements;
• Deliver engineering support across a mix of pipeline and meter station projects;
• Partner with multiple project managers and stay current on numerous active jobs;
• Draft and refine technical language for engineering, construction, and land contracts.
• Speak for the project team with management, clients, permitting agencies, and field contractors.

Required Background

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience managing projects and holding a budget.
• Abie to write clear technical documents used in engineering, construction, and land agreements.
