Job summary

ARM Energy is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to support the Mustang Express Pipeline project in Houston, TX. The role focuses on developing and administering the EHS program across construction and operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a strong safety culture among ARM Energy personnel and contractors.

Key duties include OSHA and environmental permitting oversight, contractor safety management, incident investigations, and training delivery.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of progressive EHS experience with pipeline/construction focus.
• Minimum 5 years managing EHS programs on natural gas pipeline projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1926 & 29 CFR 1910) and environmental permitting.
• Experience managing third-party contractors and inspection personnel in field construction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for OSHA, EPA, Corps of Engineers and state agencies.
• Monitor construction for permit compliance including Clean Water Act/404/401, SWPPP, and endangered species requirements.
• Develop, implement, and administer the EHS program across all construction and operational phases.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting for safety incidents and environmental releases.
• Coordinate with management, engineering and third-party inspection teams to integrate EHS into project planning.
• Maintain EHS documentation, permits, and recordkeeping; track performance metrics (TRIR/DART).
