B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Superintendent to lead multiple project sites, overseeing foremen and field teams while ensuring safety, schedules, and budgets are met.

The role involves coordinating with BIM/CAD teams and maintaining high workmanship standards on HVAC-focused mechanical projects. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of field experience, including supervisory roles, with strong reading of plans and knowledge of codes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of field experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory or Foreman role.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, coordination, and manpower planning.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and hydronic systems and applicable codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills across trades.
• Proficiency with computer-based scheduling, reporting, and communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of quality, integrity, safety, and teamwork.
• Supervise Foremen and field teams to meet schedules and budgets.
• Review plans, specifications, and submittals; approve procurement of materials and equipment.
• Plan manpower and resources to maximize field productivity.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and safety; resolve issues.
• Mentor Foremen and staff through performance feedback and coaching.
• Ensure daily timekeeping, logs, and safety documentation are completed.
• Coordinate with BIM and CAD teams for shop drawings and constructability.
