Matrix Service, Inc. invites an experienced Piping Superintendent to lead planning and daily supervision of piping construction activities for process and utility systems.

This role oversees foremen and crafts, ensuring safe, on-time execution with proper coordination across departments and subcontractors. The position requires 6+ years in similar facilities, a 4-year engineering degree, and strong scheduling/cost control abilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in a similar facility or project environment.
• 1+ years’ experience supervising craft employees.
• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises work activities; determines construction methods and safety requirements.
• Coordinates work with crafts, departments, and subcontractors.
• Maintains liaison with safety, engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure compliance with safety and schedules.
• Investigates safety issues and conducts accident investigations as required.
• Ensures materials, inspections, and equipment support project schedules.
