Job summary

Hutco, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to perform TIG pipe welding on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel systems. The role requires passing an X-ray quality test in the 6G position and proficiency with GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (STICK).

Candidates must have at least 4 years of pipe welding experience, be able to pass a drug test and E-Verify, and work all shifts in a setting that may include confined spaces and variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of pipe welding experience.
• GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (STICK) experience.
• Must pass X-ray welding test in 6G position (restricted).
• 6G position pipe weld test on a 5” schedule 80 carbon steel pipe.
• GTAW root pass and 11018 electrode used for fill and cap; X-ray quality.
• Must pass drug test and E-Verify.
• Must be able to work all shifts and in confined spaces.
• Able to work at heights and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding procedures on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel pipe using TIG.
