Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial settings.
• Follow weld procedures and setup parameters for various materials and wall thicknesses.
• Fabricate pipe spools and components per project requirements.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan piping layouts.
• Test piping systems for leaks using hydrostatic or air pressure tests.
• Lead and instruct helpers, mechanics, and fitters, and ensure safety and quality.
• Inspect systems to ensure efficient operation and compliance with standards.
