Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in piping layout, design, and pipe stress analysis.
• Leadership experience of at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full piping engineering scope for assigned projects, coordinating with international execution centers.
• Oversee all pipe stress analysis activities for new projects and existing facility issues.
• Develop, manage, and enforce project schedules, budgets, and deliverable requirements.
• Monitor project progress and provide consistent reporting throughout execution.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and clients to define scope and objectives.
• Office location is Houston, TX.
• Provide expert guidance on complex piping systems and review layouts, isometrics, and 3D models.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME, API, ANSI, and project specs.
• Perform stress analysis, material selection, and pipe routing optimization.
• Support procurement for piping components and oversee deliverables release.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and designers; lead design reviews.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation teams; review vendor drawings.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP sessions, and project presentations.
• Implement quality control procedures and conduct design audits.
• Identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
