Job summary

1 Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled Specialty Welder in Waller, TX, with expertise in pipe and pressure vessel welding as well as aluminum/exotic alloys. The role involves shop and field work, travel to client sites, and adherence to ASME and AWS codes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of hands-on welding experience, current AWS/ASME qualifications, and the ability to read complex drawings and weld maps. Competitive wages and field benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on welding experience across pipe/pressure vessel, stainless, aluminum or exotic alloys.
• Current AWS or ASME welding qualifications; open root pipe experience preferred.
• Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, weld maps and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), and FCAW welding per project specs.
• Weld pipe systems and pressure vessels to ASME Section VIII and B31.3 codes.
• Inspect welds visually and document weld records per procedure.
• Travel to field sites and work in varied industrial environments; meet milestones.
