The Senior Claims Examiner - PIP will analyze claims to determine insurer obligations, settle with first claimants and coordinate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five+ years of related claims experience and/or training; or equivalent education.
• Three+ years PIC-related experience; AIC designation considered for strong auditors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance claims to determine extent of insurer's obligations.
• Settle claims with first claimants in accordance with policy provisions and applicable law.
• Evaluate coverage, understand policy terms and provisions for broad insurance areas.
• Travel to attend customer service calls, mediations and other legal proceedings.
