Job summary

Pilot Assessments seeks a Lead Pilot in Command to manage a polished Part 91 G600 operation in South Florida. You will fly regularly as PIC, supervise flight department tasks, maintain owner relationships, and ensure safety and compliance across all operations.

Preferred is GVII/G600 type-rated candidates with strong leadership and client-service mindset, ready to lead a small, high-performing team in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• FAA ATP certificate (unrestricted or restricted).
• 4–6 years total flight experience; corporate/business aviation experience required.
• Gulfstream GVII (G600) type rating strongly preferred; FAA type rating in applicable fleet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Pilot in Command, flying regularly and fulfilling PIC duties and regulatory requirements.
• Lead flight department performance: manage owner relationships and communicate risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure compliance with scheduled/unscheduled events and routine tasks.
• Handle administrative items: invoice reviews, auditing, vendor relations, charter approvals, owner/account tasks, and crew schedules.
• Support and motivate flight department teammates and escalate concerns to Regional Chief Pilot as needed.
• Own safe flight execution: complete flight planning, weight & balance, and lead TPC briefings.
• Comply with SOPs; act as Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator; complete preflight and passenger briefings.
