Job summary

Honeywell UOP PIC is seeking a Senior Advanced PIC Project Engineer to lead control system projects from initiation through delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring successful outcomes for process technologies.

You will report to the Honeywell UOP PIC group in Des Plaines, IL, with a hybrid work schedule focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical portion of PIC control System projects from initiation to completion
• Define PIC project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Regular Communication with PIC end-users including coordination meeting, project status reports and hosting Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
• Develop and implement project plans with timelines for deliverables
• Develop, implement and maintain Quality plans for Control System Testing and Work Process adherence (ISO 9001 Certification)
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Identify and mitigate risks, barriers and issues that may impact project delivery
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship and support to junior project team members
